Kotys Wealth Professionals are fiduciaries which means we are legally bound to decide in your best interest at all times. Most “financial advisors” are not required to do what’s in your best interest. We embrace our industry’s fiduciary standard and act as a fiduciary for each client.

Fee-Only means we will never sell you a financial product for a commission. The only way Kotys Wealth Professionals is compensated is through a fee based on the assets that we actively manage for you. No commission, no third-party payments, no kickbacks. We are 100% independent which puts us on the same side of the table as our clients.

Here at Kotys Wealth Professionals, we employ a team approach and have a legal responsibility to act as fiduciaries. Our independent, fee-only structure differentiates us from the typical brokerage firm. As a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm, we are focused on providing a well-rounded service model that included comprehensive financial planning and in-house, active asset management for all clients.

Our office is located in Northwest Indiana in the city of Valparaiso, which is also about 45 miles Southeast of Chicago, IL. We work with clients from coast to coast and have clients currently in 19 states.

We work with people who have a passion for life. One common thread we find in our clients is they are “down-to-earth” people who have a love and passion for their lives, their careers, their charitable aspirations, and their families. The term “millionaire next door” has become a cliché; however, many of the amazing people we work with fit this bill. Our clients' goals vary from growing successful enterprises to spending time with grandchildren.

We never charge for any meeting. We offer introductory sessions to learn more about you, your needs, and your financial goals. You can ask questions and get a better understanding of our firm and how we work with clients.

Absolutely — Not only do we enjoy collaborating with your other professionals, we believe open communication with your CPA and attorney will ultimately provide you and your “professional team” with the most efficient outcome. Too often, financial matters have been taken care of in isolation from one another. We believe one of our major roles as a fiduciary is to recommend collaboration when it makes sense. This allows for a truly holistic experience.

At Kotys Wealth Professionals, we grow selectively and only take on a certain number of new clients each year. We encourage you to schedule a meeting with one of our advisors to determine if we are the best fit for your financial future.

Kotys Wealth Professionals has assembled an Investment Committee which manages and oversees all of our portfolio strategies. This committee, who meets on a weekly basis, represents over 70 years of combined experience. In between committee meetings, our full-time trader manages the daily activity of each strategy. Your dedicated Kotys Wealth Professional wealth advisor will meet with you on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis to review your mix of strategies.

Thanks to the convenience afforded by modern technology, we can communicate with you via video conference, no matter your location. We can also meet in person if you are local, or over the phone if you prefer.
